Description:
This volunteer project in Cusco is a museum and store that displays the benefits of the medicinal and therapeutic plants of the Incas. It focuses on the shamanistic traditions and herbal plants of Peru, including: Coca, Tabaco, Willka, San Pedro Cactus and Ayahuasca. The museum organizes scientific, cultural and artistic events.
Activities:
Volunteers help out with the marketing, finances, and administrative work of the museum and store. You will also help out with translations and improve the attractiveness and professionalism of the displays.
Requirements:
Volunteers who are studying marketing, public relations, business, graphic design, and other related subjects are especially welcome to help this museum.
Minimum:
You should work at least 6 weeks for this volunteer program in Peru.
Work Schedule:
Most volunteers work Monday through Friday. Your schedule is flexible.
Spanish:
Volunteers should speak advanced Spanish.
